9280 pond hockey trophies
We love our mountain community's team spirit! Our long-time client requested that we recreate & match two previous 9280 Pond Hockey Tournament trophies; one topped with an ice skate and the other with a hockey glove. 9280 Pond Hockey Tournament is the "largest all-ages pond hockey tournament held in the U.S. and is held annually on Keystone Lake, in Keystone, Colorado." walnut drawer fronts
We love working with our woodworking clients and share a deep appreciation of the many beautiful woods available for cabinetry. If you're not familiar with the rustic elegance of knotty walnut, the nine drawer fronts that we built to our client's specifications may surprise you. These drawer fronts will be installed into four kitchen island cabinets that we built in partnership with our client earlier this year, June 2025. Dan & Kim, Evergreen, CO
complete deck restoration
Sometimes the best solution to the high cost of an entirely new deck is a balanced approach, which may include new wood, repairs, refinishing and restoration. We were able to restore 80% of the original 20-year-old, redwood boards. While we love the results, not every deck is a good candidate, as restoration services are time & labor intensive. We expect this newly restored deck to last another 10 to 15 years with regular maintenance. Gwene & Danny, Bailey, CO
Multi-Trade Home Repairs
We specialize in multi-trade home restoration projects! Our new clients requested drywall repair (patch, texture matching and paint), magnifying mirror installation, new weather stripping for the garage door & and an interior door leading into the garage, as well as a significant structural deck repair (removing and replacing all the floor joists on an upper balcony deck). KITCHEN ISLAND CABINETRY
We specialize in client collaboration, custom installations, woodworking and cabinetry and we bring a full arsenal of top of the line tools to every job site; however, building on-site custom cabinets is unusual for us! Our client, who we've worked with for many years, also has an amazing workshop and will be partnering with us to complete four kitchen island cabinets. We will be assembling & building the cabinets and drawers with a walnut edge, while our client will follow up with the solid, walnut drawer fronts and finishes. commercial ice cream stand
As part of our client's phased, interior renovation plans, we were invited to build a custom, ice cream machine stand to hold three professional/restaurant grade machines. Each machine weighs approximately 600 lbs. The stand will support the weight of three of these machines at 1,300 lbs. We built this piece using construction grade lumber which we milled to custom proportions. The tabletop is made from maple plywood and edged with solid red oak. Preparing Home For Sale
Our clients requested several projects in preparation for placing their home on the market. We demoed and rebuilt a deck stairway, installed light fixtures, replaced door lock sets, installed a storm door, repaired a glass shower door, and repaired & reroofed an existing garden shed. Custom Candy & Merch Cabinet
Our client's business is undergoing interior renovations. For this project we built a custom candy cabinet in unfinished maple plywood with a solid red oak face frame. Once the final furniture pieces are restructured and moved into place, we can install the cabinet and add an inset toe kick. Custom Corner Shelves
This vintage white corner cabinet originally housed a small old-style television with only one additional shelf for storage. We added three new shelves, matching the style and the paint colour of the original. Natalie, Evergreen, CO
L-Shaped Bar Reconfiguration
When our clients purchased the J.J. Madwell's building for their new pizza and ice cream restaurant, it contained a beautiful but massive oak L-shaped, liquor bar. As part of their renovation strategy, we were asked if we could cut apart the bar, recreate the woodwork for new end panels, and to reconfigure the L-shaped bar into two long bars that would face each other across the room. Custom doors installation
We specialize in custom installations including doors & trim work and often work on vintage cabins which present significant challenges, as walls and openings are rarely straight or plumb. Installing new doors in older buildings often requires custom milling of woodwork and trim. For this project we installed a new energy efficient, front door and a site-built a new door frame & jamb for the solid-core closet door. We mortised for hinges, bored & mortised for the doorknobs & strike plates, and installed all new trim work. We love the new front door with the large window that let's in so much natural light. Outbuilding/Chicken Coop
Our client's 'Yellowstone' lifestyle benefits by design & builds that are customized, highly functional, solidly built and can be modified over time, as needs change. This outbuilding will begin its life as a warm & safe chicken coop but may, with minor modifications, be repurposed as a flex space, such as garden pavilion, tool or planting shed, covered picnic facility with serving area, office or hobby get-a-way, hot tub house, or kid's playhouse. . .the sky's the limit. ​Greg & Kim, Conifer Ranch, Conifer, CO
Wild Rose, L-Shaped Deck
We love working with our repeat clients, especially those who possess exceptional woodworking, design and communication skills! While we bring an arsenal of tools and decades of experience to every project, we often work in partnership with our clients to create high-end updates to their homes that may be too large or complex for them to tackle on their own. River View, Deck Build
We built a large deck for our clients who have a beautiful vintage cabin with a backyard view of the Platte River in Bailey, CO. Building a deck so near the river presents some special challenges. Based on the client's deck design and the high water table, we installed a floating deck that does not attach to the house and moves with the seasonal frost heave. Pat & Karen, Bailey, CO
Garden foot Bridge & Handrail
We love working in our client's native wildflower gardens! This narrow foot bridge was updated to include a safety handrail that we built from cedar wood, installed and painted to match the garden gates that we also built for this beautiful garden property. Connie, Conifer, CO
Attachment point of table top to new base.
Four Table Bases
As part of our collaboration with Conifer Ranch, we are commissioned to build four custom table bases to replace whiskey barrel bases that were weather damaged and beyond repair. This is the completed prototype; three more table bases were completed for an upcoming special event. The new table bases fit the existing steel tabletops, while the design is newly optimized for minimal maintenance and ease of transportation. ​Greg & Kim, Conifer Ranch, Conifer, CO
Bathroom refresh
This family-owned, nine-acre guest ranch near Estes Park has been in operation by the same family since 1948 and offers two "modest, rustic and quirky" cabins nestled in a wildlife rich, woodland setting.  We refreshed the bathroom in the newest of the two cabins, removing and replacing the wall panels and installing additional lighting, a heating/venting fan, as well as new outlets & switches. ​ Happy 100th Anniversary Mountainbrooks Ranch! Garden Gates
We built two garden gates for our client using cedar wood to construct fully enclosed frames and cross-bracing. All the joints were glued with exterior grade adhesive and reinforced with lag bolts. We expect these solid, gates to last 10-20 years. Connie, Conifer, CO
Kitchen Shelves
We built custom kitchen shelves to fit an open cabinet that was previously filled with a small TV, using two types of wood, alder and maple. ​We love that the shelves blend seamlessly into the original kitchen cabinetry. Jack & Ann, Conifer, CO
Home Gym Shelves
This beautiful mountain home sports a very desirable home gym with a built-in corner nook. We hung a series of large mirrors, built shelves for the corner nook, as well as trimmed out a window. We milled the raw wood to include a bead detail found on the baseboards throughout the home and finished the wood with an oil-based stain to match the existing woodwork. Jack & Ann, Conifer, CO
Deck Repair, Pickets & Cap rail
With our intense sunshine and extreme weather changes, deck repairs are ongoing in our neck of the woods. Our clients requested new scrolled pickets to match an existing pattern. We also replaced the cap rail. Luke & Ann, Bailey, CO
Home Gym Window Trim

Fountain Installation
